The Yorkshire ‘Gold’ Coast Helicopter Flight

£1,080.00

We think that our Yorkshire Coast is as spectacular as any other in the world. Hence the name of this wonderful Helicopter Ride.

This flight starts inland at our base aerodrome. Within minutes you will be treated to views of the imposing Minster and only 9 minutes later enter the grounds of Castle Howard; one of the finest private residences in England.

The North York Moors National Park contains one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the Country and is dominated by rocks of the Jurassic period. This will be your routing to provide access to the Yorkshire Coast. A right turn at Glaisdale and you will see Whitby Abbey, inspiration for the gothic tale of ‘Dracula’.

This is where your Yorkshire Coast Flight really begins. Quaint Robin Hood’s Bay, former Royal Fortress Scarborough Castle, the dramatic chalk Bempton Cliffs and the lighthouses of Flamborough Head, the oldest of which dates from the mid 17th Century.

After all of this you will continue South along the Coast until the seaside resort of Hornsea where you will turn inland again and head to the market town of Beverley, famous for its Minster.

Finally you will travel across the Vale of York, an area of flat yet glorious arable farmland.
